Hey all, sorry for the delay in getting this done. That said, please read theme email I received from our record label last night. Yes, this means we will have some high res versions of the new song up for download. As long as you have your dropcard still hands you will be able to snag these newer/better versions at no additional cost!
If you have any issues hit me up - firstname.lastname@example.org and I will try my best to help you out!
I’ve got 3 different versions of “Weightless Underwater” ready to go up on the Dropcards site. Please find them below…and let me know which ones you and the guys would like to have posted. We should have no issues with the space (aka hosting the files on Dropcards) so if you want to throw up more then one version, just let me know.
When you give me the go ahead, I will throw the files up on the Dropcards site…then feel free to blast out on Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook, etc. letting fans know that they can re-enter their Dropcards code & grab the new/hi-res files.
I hope this will resolve the issue some of the fans had with the lower quality MP3 that was originally put up there…these updated files all sound great.

Thought I'd say as everyone else is already, "Weightless Underwater" is just an incredible composition. I found out about you guys through Envy on the Coast who told me to check you out as Mi fa Mi was coming out. But anyways I was wondering how you guys went about recording that first EP when Casey came in and then went on to get signed to triple crown.
I am in a band right now that has you guys as one of our influences, along with many others, and was hoping what advice you would give through your own experience(s). Here is our site just in case you were curious, http://www.facebook.com/venonamusic
Jams sound great! We recorded that EP in Andrew’s parent’s basement on Casey’s laptop. Casey engineered / produced the whole thing and as I recall, we had a ton of fun doing it.
I suppose my suggestion to you would be to be smart and strategic with how you promote your band. A long time ago the answer was tour 364 days a year and just grind it out. The truth is there is almost not sustainability in this game plan. People get tired, start hating eachother and your performance and music suffers. With so many online outlets and promotional tools now available at your fingertips you can reach a much larger audience in a much faster and efficient manner. This is an unavoidable truth and worth embracing since it is truly a game changer. Although I still consider it vastly important and probably the best way to make money, I don’t see much point in touring non-stop anymore, despite the fact that some bands swear by it. For now, don’t exhaust your physical and financial resources. Put focus on creating great and consistent content and be sure to keep a concentrated effort on maintaing clever content distribution, frequent activity and engaging with your fans.

stringsandjoints said: First of all thank you. Weightless Underwater is incredible. I love how it merges the styles of the two albums perfectly.. I also want to let you know how awesome the album sounds on vinyl.. the work that went in to remastering it definitely paid off.. not to be a greedy bastard, but i have to second the request for a higher quality of the new jam than 192............ i don't want to bite the proverbial hand that feeds, yet as i am rocking out to weightless i can't help but wonder what gets lost in compression.... any chance for a FLAC or at least 320 copy??? thanks again for putting out the album i have been waiting for since i started buying vinyl.
This is troubling. I will speak to someone about this today. Thanks for the heads up and I will keep you posted!
